Three weeks ago, about 300 chanichim from the movement’s kinim in Brussels, Paris and Marseilles finished their summer camp near Bordeaux in southwestern France – a camp meant to strengthen the Francophone partnership.
In the first part of the camp, we strengthened the foundation values of the movement, which were common and known to all of us. In the second part, each ken examined its unique and special character and during the last three days of the camp we celebrated the alliance between the three similar-different kinim and worked on designing the future of the movement.
The connection between the kinim is long and deep and enables members of the movement to experience the movement experience on its broad meaning – cross-country, multi-age, diverse, different and rich. A world miniature movement.
We, the shlichim- Shabi in Brussels, Rony (who just now completed his shlichut) and Zohar (about to start) In Paris and myself in Marseille, have many great dreams and ambitions for our kinim, and it is clear to us that developing and strengthening this partnership is the key to their realization.
Among themselves, the chanichim feel as family members of each other, and this, in my eyes, is a basic experience of the movement that needs to be cultivated and on which you can build many value structures.
I wish that we all know how to create and develop all of these on a global scale, there is no reason not to.
And come visit us in Marseilles, its great here!
